Gallery & Classic Macros for Confluence (“the App”) is built on Atlassian Forge and follows the Runs on Atlassian model: all code and data processing happen within Atlassian’s cloud infrastructure.

What the App accesses

To render its macros, the App reads, at display time only:

• Page metadata (titles, last-modified dates, parent/child relationships) — for the Recently Updated and Page Index macros.
• Space metadata (names, keys) — for the Spaces List macro.
• Image attachments of the current page — for the Gallery macro.

It accesses this strictly via Atlassian’s official APIs, using the read-only scopes you approve at installation.

What the App stores

Nothing. The App does not store, log, or retain your content, and maintains no database of its own. Each macro fetches data live from Atlassian when a page is viewed.

What the App transmits

Nothing leaves Atlassian. The App has no external servers and makes no calls to third-party services. Your data is never sent outside your Atlassian cloud.

Data residency & security

Because the App runs entirely on Atlassian Forge, it inherits Atlassian’s hosting, security, and data-residency guarantees.
